R.K. Roden, Inc. (“RKRoden Show Systems”) provides Engineering, Design, Implementation, Project Management and Programming of Audio, Video, Show Control, Lighting Control Systems for Theme Park Attractions, Casinos, Museums, Night Clubs, Corporate Settings, Restaurants, and Retail outlets worldwide. Mr. Rick Roden is President of R.K. Roden, Inc. out of Florida, a systems integration company. RKRoden is experienced with many different systems and works closely to achieve their client’s goals.
Rick Roden is recognized as one of the few serious and renown Technology Systems Design Integrators working today, with a reputation earned based upon quality, and staying power of the show, theatrical, media display and projection systems that he has design-engineered and project managed in the themed entertainment industry for over 34 years. As an independent contractor / subcontractor working with various technology companies and themed attractions, his projects have included major assignments with Warner Bros., Walt Disney, Universal Studios, Lotte World and Legoland.
Prior to forming R.K. Roden, Inc. in 1999 in Florida, Mr. Roden has been active in audio engineering, speaker system design, and electronics since 1969, while working at “International Rectifier” and “Teledyne Packard Bell” (Article in a local newspaper for Mr. Roden’s invention). He began his career as a musician, and later as a recording engineer for his own recording studio, “Opus One Recording” in Torrance, California. He then specialized in the design, and installation of high-end audio-video systems in luxury custom homes, celebrity homes, cruise ships, and clubs through his own company, “Audio Services Ltd.” in California. His client list includes Hollywood Celebrities, such as O.J. Simpson, Kenny Rogers, Neil Diamond, Barry Manilow, Rita Mareno, Don Rickles, Sherry Lewis, Dudley Moore, Toni Danza, Larry Harmon, Bobby Brett, Ken Brett, Richard Nalin and Wayne Duband, and Cruise Ship Lines at San Pedro Harbor in California including “Azure Seas” and “Star Dancer” and designed sound reinforcement systems for many live stage shows (Article in July 1988 Pro Light & Sound magazine). Mr Roden’s article regarding Media Room technology was published in the ’06 May Issue of ProAV Magazine. Mr. Roden also served in Vietnam for 2 years in Military Intelligence as a Secret Crypto Radio Teletype Communication Systems Specialist (Army Commendation Medal Awarded).
R. K. Roden is a member of Themed Entertainment Association (“TEA”). Mr. Roden’s primary concern is to maintain the highest standards of client satisfaction and continue to use the latest technology available.
